From the minute you walk in you are immersed into our Tiger Pride Culture! We’re a great big community of current, and past tigers. 30% of our staff are graduated tigers, and 100% of our students are tiger strong!

School Choice 2019

In 2019 Tiger Pride News students created a promotional video. Engaging staff and student interviews, the video shows prospective students what AI is all about.

Climate Injustice

During a global pandemic, Tiger Pride News students engaged in Zoom interviews with staff at AI and those who stand for Climate Justice.

Class of 2020

The class of 2020 missed out on in-person graduation. Students and staff came together to create a video remotely. Engaging staff in a farewell message.

IN MEMORY OF

Thomas J. Hogan

Mr. Hogan was a dedicated and beloved faculty member of A.I. duPont High School for 18 years. He taught history and social studies, serving as the department chair, and coached football, wrestling and softball. Tom’s charismatic nature and obvious passion for his work is evidenced by the exceptional connections he made with his students and athletes. In 2012 he was humbled and honored to be named A.I. Teacher of the Year. He was also selected to be an honorary coach at the Delaware Blue Gold All-Star football game.
